What role do you play in lead?

I am the founder of LEAD and have been involved since day one.

Who is your favourite leader?

It is so hard to narrow down to one person. However, I'd probably say I really admired Michael Jordan for his focus, determination, discipline and drive, Eminem for his ability to inspire with such skilled use of words and emotion and Billy Graham for how he led with such character and integrity.

Where are you leading?

I am mainly leading my family and the staff team at Central Church. I also really enjoy coaching football at Edinburgh South.

Why are you excited about working with LEAD?

I truly believe that the success and progress of every organisation, however big or small, rests on the character and skill of the leadership. Therefore investing in harnessing leadership in the next generation is of the utmost importance.

What is your advice to a young leader?

Lead yourself first as those around you will be far more interested in how you lead yourself and others as opposed to anything you say.
