What role do you play in lead?

I am a part of Lead as a trustee, shouldering the responsibilities of the treasury role. In this capacity, I manage monthly payroll, handle expenses, and ensure the accuracy and organisation of year-end accounts.

Who is your favourite leader?

So hard to choose one! Let me instead say the values I’m drawn to: empathy, respect and honest communication. Essentially, my preferred leader seamlessly blends kindness, accountability and a sincere commitment to the betterment of others.

Where are you leading?

Amidst the challenging deadlines and long hours of my work as an accountant, I enjoy collaborating with my colleagues and achieving shared goals. I also see myself as a leader in daily relationships and conversations with others!

Why are you excited about working with LEAD?

I love LEAD’s heart for cultivating courage, embracing experimentation and learning from failures. I’m excited by LEAD’s holistic approach to leadership, and to see the power it has in bringing transformation to young people and the world around them!

What is your advice to a young leader?

To young leaders, my advice would be to remain open to challenge, listen to others and courageously step out of your comfort zone.
